How does Autoblogged handle Images

How do you currently handle images?
are images stored and downloaded to the wordpress media library or simply linked via the original content?

I believe they ARE being stored in the Wordpress Image gallery.....IF you've elected to save a local copy, or create a local thumbail for an image in your feed settings. I certainly see many images that have been imported from one of my feeds and i have the DO NOT SAVE IMAGES LOCALLY checked, and the CREATE LOCAL THUMBNAILS FOR EACH IMAGE also checked.
